Events in Soave
The 3rd Sunday of each month “Mercatino dell’Antiquariato“. It takes place inside the historical centre.
The 3rd weekend of January – at the hamlet of Costeggiola, Festa di Sant’Antonio with the traditional “Sagra dei Rufioi”. Rufiolo, a typical dessert of the area, goes well with Recioto di Soave.
The 3rd weekend of May – “Festa Medioevale del Vino Bianco di Soave””.
Among the most important moments: the investiture of Castellane di Suavia on Sunday morning and Palio delle Botti on Sunday afternoon. Furthermore, during the Festival, the visitor who will arrive in Soave and walk the streets of the village, will take a dip in the past where medieval games, archers, knights with flag-wavers, the review of ancient crafts with the market will be the characterizing elements of the whole day.
The 3rd weekend of September – 90th edition – “Festa dell’Uva”.
Conceived in 1929, it was the first of its kind in all of Italy. The event is characterized by the high quality of the cultural and folkloristic events that aim to exalt Garganega, a queen grape and Soave treasure.
