Collective project to improve and promote the outdoor in Soave

Soave Open Air is a project that promotes all types of attendance and use of public green heritage, paths and tours, creating new spaces dedicated to structured activities, sport and mobility, teaching, creativity, reading and meeting.

The VKR EMPLOYEE FOUNDATION OF VELUX allocates funds all over the world for activities aimed at improving the quality of life in the areas adjacent to the VELUX offices, to allow its employees, but also the residents of these territories, to have places and facilities for activities in green areas.

The foundation chose the Soave Open Air project as part of the Green Areas and Outdoor Life call as the project perfectly matches the wishes of the Foundation. https://www.employeefoundation.com/en/gronne-omrader/

Thanks to the funds made available, the Municipality of Soave will therefore invest in installations, events and projects available to citizens, schools, associations and tourists, promoting leisure, sports activities and outdoor culture, ensuring the accessibility, care and promotion of these spaces and all types of outdoor activities.

Soave Open Air has set up a network of associations with specific aims and skills, to ensure the realization and maintenance of the three areas of intervention, involving citizens, local companies and professionals in the sector.

In three areas of our municipality, the green heritage will be designed and redeveloped to make it available to citizens of all ages, including bike trails, installations for play, teaching and reading in the open air, thematic woods, a lookout point and dedicated paths, then collecting in the communication plan all the green areas and realizations already present in the territory and dedicated to outdoor life.

Urban Park "Parco dei Poeti"

An open and shared space that can combine man and nature by promoting leisure, sport, outdoor teaching, generational encounter, care for nature and knowledge of the biodiversity that surrounds us.

VELUX Pump Track

A track full of curves and bumps, where you can ride your bike without pedaling, but only moving in the right way with your body and your bike: an innovative attraction in strong development.

Panoramic Path "Vajo degli Alpini"

An aided path to reach the Scaliger fortress more easily, both by tourists and by those who simply want to take a walk outside the crenellated walls.

The associations involved in the project are considered strategic for the shared realization of the three areas of intervention and are: Legambiente Fuori Nota APS Association, Perosini Editore Association, Friends of the Ancient Towers Association, ASD Soave Cycling Group, in collaboration with the IAT Est Veronese.
